Captivate - NYLT Course Director Conference
TOOLS: Adobe Captivate
Development Time: 10 modules, approx 5 hrs each
NYLT is a 6-day, leadership training for youth members of Boy Scouts of America. Course Director Conference is a 10 hour, instructor-led training for the adult volunteers who will serve as director of an NYLT course.
Course Director Conference was converted to a blended course to ensure training could continue during COVID-19 group size restrictions.
I implemented the eLearning portions of the blended course using Adobe Captivate. Each module consists of 8-10 slides of content, with voiceover and closed captions. Each module includes 2-3 knowledge check questions and a results slide.

Captivate - Knot Safety Example

A simple module incorporating a login screen, a lesson video and a knowledge check.
Storyline360 - Stages of Team Development
TOOLS: Articulate Storyline360
Development Time: Approx 20 hrs including recording voice over.
A traditional PowerPoint converted to SL360 with narration. The original presentation had a group activity to help confirm learning. This version has drag-and-drop knowledge checks.
Storyline360 - Flash Conversion
TOOLS: Articulate Storyline360
Development Time: approx 10 hrs thus far
At the end of 2020, Flash will no longer be supported by mainstream browsers. This project re-implements an example Flash module in Articulate Storyline 360 to demonstrate this type of conversion.
This project is nothing more than a way to expand my Storyline360 skills.
